so a live next year??

ehh, was reading tochuugesha's post about SMAP might be having a concert next year and I'm watching Music Station now, and I think the probability of them having a concert next year is very very high! kimutaku, tsuyoshi mentioned about wanting to have a concert :)

Hope they come to Fukuoka, then may be I might go for their concert :)

Edit: Aiba!!!! Haha, what's with your link between 宇宙人 and your すけすけdebut costume!!! so cute :) Plus, I think they allocated more time for arashi for the talk part. Like Smap, all of them could at least talk a bit, but like V6 (which is not as popular, sadly), only inocchi and I think Okada spoke :(

Gyabo~~~

Crossposting this from my wordpress :) Just without the photos can go to http://nihoneikou.wordpress.com/ to look at the photos :)

I think more people know Nodame Cantabile rather than Kinki Kids, so I will write a little more about today's trip to canal city for the movie!!! I'm not gonna talk anything about the movie so as not to have any spoilers, but the movie is kinda like the special as in the 1st part is more about Chiaki and the 2nd part is about Nodame :) For people back in sg watching the movie in march, please stay till the end for the trailer for the 2nd part :)

Okok, for some of you guys who dont know, I went for the butai aisatsu in fukuoka for Nodame movie. I'm not sure if I can explain it properly, but in Japan, they have something called butai aisatsu (directly translated into stage greeting) where the actors and also the director appear before the movie screening and talk a little about the movie. Of course this is only for selected screenings and venues only. I think most movies only have butai aisatsu in tokyo, but may be more popular ones will go to the major cities. I only found out that they are coming to fukuoka when they mentioned on TV and of course, I went to check it out immediately online and they were coming on christmas eve :) And of course, after checking that I'm free during that time, I went to check out my ticket source->yahoo auctions and there were tickets on auction :) Like what I wrote on my previous post, I got it for the original price at 2,000yen. But I found out that actually student price cost 1,700yen, but oh wells.

So I went in to the theatre 10 mins before and I saw this thingy in front :)

My seat was kinda at the back, so I couldnt see them very clearly, but still the theatre could seat 400 people, so quite small=still not too bad. Too bad photography was not allowed. I tried to steal a shot, but failed, so no photos of them :( Unlike concerts when it is all dark and stuff, the lights were all on and there were people facing you, so not easy to steal a shot. Tamaki Hiroshi had his not very nice hairstyle and he wore erm, i dont know, but it was black, but still handsome though. Ueno Juri's hair was like nodame, she wore a blue flowery one piece and I-cant-remember-what-colour-stockings. (Not sure why, but I think Ueno Juri is looking more like Ayase Haruka these days when I see her on tv) In addition to the both of them, the director came as well, but I guess no one really cared about him.

There were 2 high school girls who had the puppets of the anime character in nodame and they caught the attention of tamaki and ueno. There were also 2 other girls who had handwritten stuff like 'welcome to fukuoka' and 'have you eaten hakata toorimon?' (hakata toorimon is a cake like souvenir which nodame gives to her teacher in the special drama. I think it was mentioned in the drama). Quite a lot of people brought binoculars and I think I should go invest in one as well >_<

They talked about for 20 minutes and then the movie started. The talk was mainly about the movie and etc. Some interesting points were:

-when chiaki was talking, some girls were waving to nodame and she was like waving back to them and chiaki was like 'hey, i'm talking!' in a nice way

-when asked about the highlights of the film, chiaki said that we can see the white part of his eyeballs more clearly (he always does it in the drama!) then 2 girls seating behind me was like 'do it!' and he said something which I didnt catch, but everyone was like laughing, so I assume it was something 'it's impossible' or like 'even if I do it, you cant see it right!'

-when someone was calling 'chiaki senpai~' he replied and said 'oui', yes in french :) :) That 'oui' was very pleasing to my ears.. lol

-they watched the movie on the previous day (23/12) in the same theatre with all the other people!!! Everyone was like ehhhhhhhhhhh~~~~ I wished I was there~but I'm too poor to watch a movie twice..seems like quite a lot of people already watched the movie though...

-For nodame's ending comment, she was like 'ehhh, seems like I've said everything already, there's nothing to say..' Then chiaki was like 'of course there are still things that you can say!' :)

they were very cute :) :) Oh FYI, in the drama, Nodame is from Fukuoka prefecture ♥ ♥(but not from fukuoka city though)

Oh, and then after the movie, I went out and to my surprise, they had placed a poster with their signatures :) I think when nodame comes to singapore, they probably have posters, and other stuff, but the signed poster will probably be something you will never see in singapore theatres. So here's a photo of it. (I should have taken a better photo!!! you can see the exit sign on Chiaki's face >_<)

Posting some other photos of the stuff they had there :) Ohhh, and they sell pamphlets of the movies, but then, when I realised that the pamphlet for nodame was sold out :( Or else I would have gladly spent that 700yen. Ohh, and you have to watch a movie to be able to get to the place where you can get the goods.

So after the movie, I went to find charlene to go to another singaporean's house to have a christmas party with the other singaporeans :) And all thanks to my cool phone which has GPS (using the internet) we didnt get lost! the food was great, the company was great as well :)

It always feels good to hang out with the singaporeans :)

It's 25th december already, so Merry Christmas to everyone out there :) And a Happy Birthday to Jesus!

Have a great Christmas! I'll probably stay at home and try to do homework, plus watch Music Station Super Live at night..

Lesson learnt in buying tickets

1. Buy only after you know where are the seats are roughly. (but the seats I got this time are good)
2. Buy tickets for yourself only unless, the person who is going with you is confirm plus chop going.
3. Buy extra tickets only if they are tickets for arashi's concert.

Rarr... Super sian la. Just hope I can sell my tickets on the day of the concert or else I'm most likely going alone. SIAN. Hope and prays that my friend can go for it!!

But I think Kinki Kids concert should be fun, looking forward to their really random and long MC and Harmony of December/Swan song/Garasu no Shounen :)

Random, but watching all the music shows and the polls which ask about the songs you like by the different years, Teresa Teng was really really popular in Japan back then..And her voice was really really great.

oh-no~

Those who have watched yesterday's HnA would have known that ohno had some problem with his left eye. I guess it was just some swelling (? not sure how to explain) in his eye, but if you think about it, they are so busy that he cant rest when he isnt feeling very well, and that's kinda worrying. Hope they take care of themselves!!

Anyways, it snowed (really lightly) when I was on my way to school yesterday, but when I reached my stop, it stopped snowing :( <strike>It just snowed for like 1 minute just now, but it stopped already as well. So sian la.. </strike> started snowing again and it's distracting me from doing my homework!

It's getting really cold (at least for me) and it's only near end dec! The long winter awaits... Spring!!! Come quickly!

And it's winter break already! Just that I need to go to school next monday. Going to be kinda busy, but hope everything goes well :)

surprised...

to find out that there's a link to my post which isnt worth to be called a con report on a mr children's forum... I guess that's the scariness of the internet and search engines :(

But oh wells, just hope that people who clicked on the link didnt feel too disappointed when they read my not-really-a-con-report post.. haha.. hope the pictures made up for it though..

Hope the tix I got for Kinki kids are good seats so that I can at least sell them at the price I got! Yahoo Auctions have lots of their tix and they arent that expensive! Making me regret my decision of getting them early :(

マジ行きたい！！

I want to go for arashi's concert!!!! It's kinda irritating, like how you are in Japan but yet cant go because of financial limitations.

I really considered various ways and toyed with the idea of just going there and see whether I can buy from any scalpers, but somehow it's kinda impossible, like if I spend all the effort going there and in the end the tix are all too expensive and I decide not to attend the concert, it's just a waste of money.

Sometimes I wished arashi werent that popular. So that I can at least go to their concert at a reasonable price. Like Mr Children's tix were only 3,500 yen!! Sometimes I really really dislike those fangirls who go to all their concerts and then posting their concert reports in the communities everytime they go to one. I know watching arashi once is not enough, but think of poor fangirls like me who have never seen arashi and might not be able to go for one. Cant they just give us a chance?! Haha, I guess human beings are all selfish to a certain extent.

Hope I can get it from yahoo auctions then (very very unlikely though)

Enough of sian stuff, I wrote this on my wordpress and since its kinda fangirl related, I shall crosspost to here :) haha...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ever since I came to Japan, and started watching news almost everyday (because they are more interesting than 早安您好 and channel news asia) I got to know quite a few sportsmen. Japan seem to like their sports people a lot and they know their players (especially for baseball). Unlike Japan, Singapore's famous sports people are the usual few - Li Jiawei, Jocelyn Yeo, Ronald Susilo, Feng Tianwei, etc. I guess it's also because of our size, it would be better to focus on a few sports and do well in it rather than involving in a wide variety of sports but yet not showing any results (since Singapore is quite focused on results).

So what does sports people have to do with fangirl-ing?! I'll like to introduce a sportsman whom I think is cute :) He is a golfer and before I came to Japan, I had zero interest in golf (even though Aiba plays golf quite often), but now I do kinda watch a little when he is playing :P Haha, but still, I dont really know about golf.

And the golfer is called Ishikawa Ryo (石川遼), just a pity that he is only 18 years old. Haha, but he is super rich!! He just became the youngest golf player to receive the highest amount of money from tournaments. He won like 183,520,000 yen (S$2,888,560) for this year I think. Anyways, a photo of him :)

The guy next to him is Ikeda Yuta, 2nd in ranking for the amount recieved from tournaments. Ishikawa Ryo has also a few advertisements and the one I like is the collaboration with Katou Seishirou, another cute young actor who is really popular in Japan now :)

<lj-embed id="20" />

Watch it!! It's 17 seconds of your time only :)

Yup, the little boy is Katou Seishirou and he is really popular! Soooo cute :) In an interview, he once said that he liked Arashi's Sakurai Sho, another reason for me to like him!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I mentioned about katou seishirou in one of my posts earlier, haha, but somehow, you can never get sick of seeing him on tv. He's just too cute :)

I got a new phone!?

Haha, no, I'm not that rich to get another japanese phone, but it's true that I got a new phone, just that it is a toy phone, those that they put display! Haha, and guess what I got the solar phone that ohno was advertising for, just that they didnt have the blue one, so I got the pink one which they had.

Was walking in Deitos in Hakata station with my friend who came to visit before going for homestay. She was looking at diaries and I was like waiting for her outside, then something caught my eye! There was this sign which said you can take these for free and they are popular with kids. And the stuff we could take for free was the display phones! So I took one, and my friend took one as well :)

hehe.. the phone is kinda useless, but still, can go and bluff other people.. hahah..

and...arashi on Heyx3 tonight :) and winter break in 2 more weeks!!

☆ミスチル　サイコー！！☆

Just came back from Mr Children's Supermarket Fantasy Dome Tour 2009!!!! My first ever live in my whole life! It was really great!

My thoughts are really here and there, so I'll just type as they come.

Me and my friend reached Yahoo Dome kinda early, like 2.50pm. We then went to get the concert goods. I got a handphone strap and the pamphlet :) We then walked around and went in at about 3.45, 1 hour and 45 minutes before the starting time.

No photography was allowed, but like who cares right. I stole a few shots without the officials noticing :) My seat was quite good, considering that it cost me less than half the original price! Like at least I had quite a good view of the stage, not at the extreme end or not too behind!

It started around 5.05, 5 minutes late because people were still streaming in. I guess I still cant say that I'm a Mr Children's fan because I didnt know more than half the songs sung at the concert :( But still it was a good live!!! I should have listened more of the supermarket fantasy album!! I downloaded it only on Friday night, or was it Thursday?! I dont know, but I was out almost the whole day on friday and saturday, so I didnt have time to listen. But while listening it again after the concert, they performed 8 out of 14 songs from the album!

some photos!

Mr children's live is just like their cd, but with visual effects plus the whole atmosphere. Oh my god, I still cant believe I went for their live. I cant imagine how it will be like if I went for arashi's live la!!! Ohhh, and during the concert, I was kinda imagining how the stage would have been when arashi performed at yahoo dome about 2 months ago and I think I'll probably could see them quite clearly at where I am seating if they came around (coz you know johnny's have like stages all around the place) Ohh, and somehow me and my friend concluded that Yahoo Dome isnt that big. But I guess it's still big enough to not be able to see them really clearly :(

Ohh, Sakurai, the lead vocalist is super 'zai'. Even though he is like 39 already, he still runs around the stage and jumps up and down! Plus he has to stand throughout the whole live and to sing for 2 hours straight! I was already kinda tired from standing, but he was still super energetic at the end plus his voice is still as strong! Some one who is really talented :) マジ格好良かった！！！

I think they sung more of the songs from their newest album plus the older songs. He only sang Hanabi and Gift (and Houkiboshi, if you consider it new)for the newer singles..I really wished he sang shirushi and fake and tabidachi no uta but... at least they sang their newest single, fanfare, but of course, I cant remember how it sounds like already.

there were quite a lot of couples, different age groups, families etc. And during the concert, you could hear guys shouting 'sakurai san~' and whenever they shout, the other people will laugh la. And the only name people do actually shout is sakurai-san. But oh well, he is the only guy from Mr Children I know ><

The keyboardist was kobayashi takeshi, the producer of Mr Children and the guy who performed with Akanishi Jin on Music station for his new song, Bandage. The band was really really good!!! Just like what you hear on the cd. The local TV station came as well.

They only had 1 encore, but I dont know, seemed like the crowd was kinda lukewarm, they didnt even shout for encore but clapped only. The 2 and a half hour seemed really really short and in a blink, it was over. Of course, I wanted to listen more.

When the concert ended around 7.30pm, many people left, and not wanting to be caught in the crowd, me and my friend didnt stay till the end. And guess what, when we went out, there were already a lot of Japanese and many of them were like running la!! haha.. I guess it was kinda funny to us and my friend made a comment that the japanese are actually more kiasu then us!! But the transportation back was really bad. Lucky for us we left early and got to sit for the ride back :)

I guess it's that's all.. Really wonderful experience and I do hope that Mr Children will have another tour next year so that this wont be my first and last Mr Children's concert!

Next concert would be Kinki Kids 22 December!! I should go listen more kinki kids songs during these few weeks!Anyone wants to go for the concert in Fukuoka?? I have 2 extra tickets :)

Must watch!

really stupid, but funny!

And VS arashi!!!! I used to not like VS arashi because it was kinda boring, but I guess anything with arashi will still be kinda interesting.. haha arashi and gackt plus ohno's birthday!

And so, yeahhhh, mr children!! Just that I'm more familiar with their new songs and know nuts about their old songs..

Anyways, I love my handphone! I think I mentioned it several times, but yeahhh, I love it! On top of watching tv, I can like record tv programmes on it! Kinda glad I got this instead of the 0 yen one which everyone else is using, because the 0 yen one cant watch tv at all! haha.. yeahh..

and yeahh, 2 more weeks to internet in my room... like finally .. after almost 2 months wait...

Initially it was jun, but ohno's vocals, artistic talent, great dance moves and his 'my pace-ness' won me over.. But now sho is catching up fast! Interestingly, sakurai was the only member I didnt like initially!

Least favorite member: Hmmm...this is difficult!! but if I had to choose, probably nino..

Member with the best hair: ohno?? His hairstyle doesnt change that much (in recent years)and it's quite nice!

Member with the best eyes: Sho!!

Member with the best smile: Aiba :)

Member I'd most want to kiss: Sho I think...

Member I'd most like to have sex with: I dont think I wanna answer this question...

Member I'd make lunch for: Jun! I think he is someone who will really appreciate if you make lunch for him??

Member I'd go singing in the rain with: agrees with tochuugesha and thinks Aiba does sound like a fun choice. :D

Member I'd go shopping with: Jun.. coz I think he is quite fashionable (although recent HnA episodes proved otherwise!)

Member I'd go dancing with: Sho because he looks like he clubs quite a bit??

Member I'd take over the world with: Aiba and we will make the world a nicer place?!

Member I most want to see more of: Ohno!! He really does need to speak up more!

Favorite pairing: sakuraiba is cute :)

Least favorite pairing: agrees totally with tochuugesha -->Uh.
I took leave on my second last day of work to do stuff and I must say, yesterday was great!

Okay, I guess the day didnt start off really good, coz I got lost while finding my way to the japan embassy, which was kinda ulu. So I had to take a cab down, and the uncle was really nice. He forgot to press the meter and I ended up paying $4, which was quite reasonable. (He told me I can just pay him $3/$4, but considering that the starting fare was $2.80, $3 would be too little..) Then I took a cab down to holland village to check out the restaurants over there. And then I went to school to meet some students from Hiroshima!

After their little lesson about hiroshima dialect, they were free to do any stuff. I ended up following a group who wanted to go sentosa with 2 other friends. And guess what, on the bus ride to vivo, I found out that 1 of the girls is really into arashi and is in their fanclub!!!!!As in, yeahh, I know several japanese who likes arashi, but they arent in their fanclub are never went to their concerts. So she is like the first japanese I know who likes arashi as much, or even more than me! We got really excited talking about arashi on the bus ride!!

Sentosa was, erm, okay, just that singapore's weather really sucks a lot! Yesterday was really hot and humid, not really nice for walking around.. Since the girls wanted to go by cable car, we took the cable car. It was my first time taking it as well! We went to the Merlion and dolpin lagoon. The girls were really nice and they paid for our admission to the dolpin lagoon/underwater world.. but the really sad thing is that we couldnt go to the underwater world because of time constraints :(

So after sentosa, I had another appointment with 2 girls who are also going to kyushu university! One is going for Japan in Today's World (JTW) and the other is going for a law masters programme. We met at this bar along Bali Lane near Bugis. I think I drank on an empty stomach and got kinda red. I felt a bit tipsy as well, even though I only drank like 500ml of beer.. Well, I had the same beer and another cocktail last friday but I felt totally fine then.So I really think it's the drinking on an empty stomach thing, which I shall not attempt next time..

In conclusion, I had fun yesterday!!! And today is my last day of work!!! Like finally, after 10 weeks!!!!!!!!! I can finally sit down and start packing plus asking my friends out and preparing to go to japan!

updates!

1. Havent posted for a long long time! But I do read my flist, just too lazy to post..

2. Leaving on the 29th September 2009, 0100, SQ656 to Fukuoka, Japan! The other girl going to kyudai is taking that flight too! Just that she's taking business class (using miles) and I'm taking economy. Hopefully by joining the frequent flyer and that the business class isnt full, I get a free upgrade to business class (but it's like totally impossible!)

3. Body shop sale at plaza singapura! I spent like $50 there! Quite worth it :)

4. 2 weeks and 4 more days to the end of work!! I woke up at like 8.20am today when usually I leave the house at 8.10am!! But was only late for 8 mins!

5. And about work, the other girl going to kyudai with me might be joining me for work for 2 weeks! And that means that I dont have to go for lunch alone for the last 2 weeks of work!!

6. GC was great, even though I only attended the night sessions!

7. The Saturdays of August are really busy! Had a dinner on the 1st sat, chalet on the 2nd sat, a birthday party (which was the same place as the chalet) on the 3rd and another birthday party this coming sat!

8. Band medley of arashi's songs posted at lj is really really nice!! Can you imagine one song just for arashi's songs!Reminds me so much of the days when I was in band!

9. module mapping kinda suck. Especially when I really dont know much about what I can and might be taking over there and I have to show the prof stuff...

just some rants

I really really dont like it when people just upload allllll the photos they have taken onto facebook. Like cant you do some simple selection and NOT upload photos which are blur and repeated and doesnt really flatter the person in the photo! Like seriously. It's really sian to see all the not-so-nice photos of you on the world wide web and you cant do anything but to just untag. Rarrr.

For me, if the photos I take are blur, I will just delete it and not waste any space in my hard disk.

Haha.. just some random rants here :)

Oh, and I had a great time with amatsuki tonight!!
the weekend

I spent the weekend that just passed home alone! And I realised that it's actually kinda dpressing, like you go home and no one is home and will be going home. Anyways, the rest of the family went to Bangkok for a short shopping spree! I couldnt go because I had a dinner with the people who took care of us when I was in Hiroshima in June! I guess I could just go along with my family and miss the dinner, but it's a rare chance that they even come to Singapore... But, the shopping spree sounds great!

And back to the dinner, it was held at the Chinese restaurant at Miramar Hotel. The food and service there sucks! At least I know where not to hold my wedding dinner now! Anyways, it was a great time catching up with the internship people!

After the dinner, we went over to Harry's bar at esplanade to have some drinks with the hiroshima people. I guess it was good and bad, good because I half expected that they will treat us (even though we are in Singapore), bad because if we asked one of the guys to come, the other 2 will have to come and 1 of the guy is like the president of the Hiroshima Singapore Association and we found out he is like 80 years old, so we didnt exactly know what to talk to him as well.

I saw some vj friends over at Harry's Bar, which was a pleasant surprise. Seriously speaking, I'm not close to my jc friends at all (except for like maybe audrey and yiyun), but it was still nice seeing them there.

And came sunday, which was national day and I spent it at home! Haha, watched the national day parade, which was as usual, nice. The only thing that I didnt like was the remix of the old ndp songs which kinda suck. I rather they stick to the old and nice tune they used to had instead of mixing all the songs into 1.

Yays for this week coz it's a short week! Public holiday on Monday, half day on Wednesday and off on Friday! So work for this week is just Tuesday, Wednesday morning and Thursday!

for a long long time..

I'm actually writing some stuff in here! Haha, been lazy to update this blog coz there isnt anything happening recently..

Hmmmm... I actually dont know what to update about...okay, work now is as usual boring, but 4 weeks and 2 days have passed and I'm left with another 5 weeks and 3 days, which I hope will pass by quickly.

Met up with 2 of my uni friends today and we had a nice chat over dinner at Din Tai Fung, which actually isnt that expensive. The 3 of us spent less than $60 and for nice xiao long bao, it was quite worth it.

Other exciting stuff coming up are dinner with the people from Hiroshima Singapore Association(the people who made my homestay and internship possible) are coming to Singapore! And we are having some dinner at Miramar hotel! Looking forward to meeting them!

National day on Sunday! Erm, I dont actually watch NDP recently, but still love songs like 'Count on me Singapore', 'Stand up for Singapore', 'Home' which arereally nice :)

Next week's Hiroshima internship chalet!! haha, gonna have lots of fun with them :)

Looking at my August schedule, I think August is gonna be busy!

pissed off at my brother. Just got to know from his blog that he actually lost his bag (not sure about the stuff inside) and he got a new billabong bag at $90!! Like my most expensive bag was only $70 and that was bought when I was working! My brother isnt even working and he spends like nobody's business. My dad gave him an atm card recently, and I thought it wasnt a very right move though. He actually has been receiving $50/week since sec 2 (I think). He is in poly now and I don't think he actually does need so much money.

Okay, but writing this, I must also confess that I'm also guilty of this. I guess the main difference is, he doesnt know how to limit himself to the max price he can spend on a single item. Like for me, I will never buy a $90 bag (for now, since I'm still a student) and the max I will spend on clothes is around $50 (for top) and $60 (for bottoms).

Anyways, I bought a pair of adidas sneakers today for $69.90! Actually, I didnt want to get it, but the person thought I was getting it, plus it was the last day of sale, so I just went to get it (since I am working now, I just need to spend lesser for the next few weeks)

pic of my sneakers taken from online (doesnt look very flattering, but i kinda like it)

I actually wanted to get another seriously cool pair, but there wasnt my size :(

And I've been noting down how much I spend each day (after effect of hiroshima internship. I dont know why, but I feel weird not writing down how much I spend and wanting to collect the receipts) So at least I have an idea on how much I am spending and know when to restrict myself :)

random updates

I'm so lazy to now to write aout stuff. I think I have stuff to write about, but I cant really remember them now!

-Going for a freshman orientation camp tonight, so wont be around for the weekend.
-Starting work next monday. Thanks to my sister's recommendation of her job which she ended on Tuesday.
-BOSS is really nice to watch! I dont kow, but I just like the characters and how cool Amami Yuki is. Plus this is the only drama where I can watch the whole opening part without forwrding! Alright by Superfly is cool!

<lj-embed id="18" />

-Other than BOSS, I think Shiroi Haru is a nice watch, although my friends whom I went to Japan with found it a little slow I think. Personally, I liked it a lot (minus the ending) though. Coz Abe Hiroshi and Ohashi Nozomi were quite good in it. I finished The Quiz Show as well, and it was not bad! I gave up on Smile, coz it was just too depressing and kinda boring.

-I wanna go for Natsumatsuri because I've got my yukata!! But it's on a Saturday :( Anyways, I saw a similar looking yukata in Takashimaya selling for $189 when I bought it for 4200yen ($64!) in Japan (okay, the yukata was on sale, I think it's normal price is the about the same as sg)

I guess that kinda sums up my random updates.

good news and bad news

Back from Japan and is tired from all the packing! There's a piece of good news and also bad news. Usually I will tend to want to know the bad news first, but this time i need to share the good news before the bad one (okay, its not really bad bad though)

Okay, good news is, I just received my letter of confirmation from Kyushu University, so it's confrmed that I will be going to Japan for exchange this october!

And the bad news is, I will probably be reaching Fukuoka on the 28/29 September, just 10 days after arashi's concert in Fukuoka!!!So I wont be able to see them in Fukuoka!

So nw I can only hope that I can go for either hokkaido, tokyo or nagoya concerts, but getting of tickets will be difficult :(

random update :)

Back at lj! I’ve been posting over at wordpress about Japan, but coming back here for a post to fangirl! LOL. For the first time in 3 weeks, I finally watched Arashi no Shukudai kun in Japan! Watched Sho’s news zero as well :) Anyways, yesterday’s AnS was funny and sho is so cute :) Interestingly, I haven’t been watching a lot of variety shows in Japan, probably because at night I’m mostly in my room or talking to the others. But, I wake up at like 6.10am (5.10am in Singapore!!) every morning so that I can watch the morning entertainment news. But I think for the next few days I can afford to wake up at 6.20am.

I’m also so used to putting on make up that I just spend about 25 min to do make up (I think I used to take 35~45min in the past because eyeliner itself took about 15~20min).

I guess I will miss this place. After all, it’s my second time here and my homestays were all in Hiroshima and after 3 weeks here, you are familiar with all the stuff around. I even can recognize faces on the streetcar I take to work every morning! (There’s this cute girl who stops at the same stop as me, this freaking skinny and tall guy who will stop at Genbaku dome mae station, this ang moh who will be in the transfer streetcar and stops at the same stop as me, but I haven’t been seeing him lately. LOL)

Btw, it’s getting hotter in Japan already. In the afternoon, it’s just like Singapore, plus the occasional cool winds.

Alright shall end my random post here. Think I will update my wordpress later. Go there for more updates!
